Is SolarisPWM a Fiduciary? What Does That Mean?
Yes, we are proud of our fiduciary duty, which is legally required under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. Some firms earn commissions based on hidden fees and buying and selling decisions — but not us. As fiduciaries, we are legally and ethically bound to act in your best interests. We are committed to aligning our objectives with yours, removing many of the conflicts that can exist with other financial advisors.
How is SolarisPWM compensated?
We are a fee-only advisor that receives compensation based on a tiered asset-under-management (“AUM”) schedule. This fee varies depending on the size of your investment portfolio.

Yes. All SolarisPWM advisors are Certified Financial Planners™ (“CFP®”). To become a CFP’s, an advisor must meet the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.’s (CFP Board) rigorous education, training, and ethical standards. CFP®s are considered to be the gold standard for financial professionals.
